NW Quik Pull Certification Breaks The Scales
In May 2020, we contacted ABM Equipment and A-1 Scales in Vancouver Washington to set up a time to have our tool tested. We went in on the day scheduled and had a great experience with the people there. Unfortunately that test was not successful because NW Quik Pull broke their scale at just over 7,000lbs! We had told them that according to the math equation we used, our tool should be capable of lifting well over 10,000lbs. They were not initially believers, so they used a smaller scale. They told us they would repair the scale and invite us back at a later date!
NW Quik Pull is designed specifically to allow stability because of the tripod feature. This also provides the point of leverage for the handle. It’s the length of the handle, and the position of the handle which provides the math, and therefore the outcome of the power.

NW Quik Pull Certification Goes Big!
In June 2020, we were invited back to ABM Equipment and A-1 Scales for another testing process. This time they were ready with a bigger capacity scale, and a reinforced system. This allowed NW Quik Pull to be certified at 10,205lbs with a 250lb person operating the tool. When an extension was added to the handle, the capacity was over 15,000lbs. It’s important to understand that the size of the person does affect the capacity of pulling power. When a person weighing 125lbs was using the tool, they achieved over 5,000lbs, and with an extension achieved over 8,000lbs!
We tell people all the time that it’s not just about the size of the person using the tool. It’s really about the leverage of the tool! This was proven in the testing and certification process!
