The NW Quik Pull Fence Post Puller Proves It’s Strength
The NW Quik Pull is made of 1 and ¼” Schedule 40 pipe, with ¼” plate and 3/8” grade 8 zinc nuts and bolts. It has a 70 grade logging chain that cinches around the object being pulled. This grade of chain is necessary because smaller grades of chain broke.
We researched for some time about how to make the best portable, lightweight, manual fence post puller which would save time, and hard work. And as a result, we came out with the NW Quik Pull.
We have pulled out much more than fence posts! We have pulled out an early 90”s Satellite Dish post with a 500lb piece of concrete attached! Our tool also has pulled Arborvitae, trees, shrubs, and bamboo.
The NW Quik Pull Exceeds All Expectations During Testing
Even though we took pictures and videos of these jobs, people were still in disbelief of this Post Puller! We decided that we should get it weight tested and certified. We contacted ABM Equipment & A-1 Scales who said they could accommodate our request. The people at A1 Scales in Vancouver WA, facilitated the testing of this tool. As with any tool of leverage, it is directly proportionate to how much weight is put on the handle. So even though a 250lb man was able to gain 7,917lbs psi of pulling pressure, a 125lb woman was still able to get 5,502 lbs psi pulling pressure also.
Lets put those pulling numbers into perspective on what they actually mean in the real world, and keep it simple with examples that anyone can understand. An F150 pickup has 8,000lbs of towing capacity. The three point hitch on a 100hp tractor has 3,800lbs of lifting capacity. Your average car or bumper jack only has 2,000lbs of lifting capacity.
Proving that the Quik Pull has plenty of lifting power. With all that lifting power,it has 3 sturdy legs, giving it more stability than most Fence Post Pullers on the market. And NW Quik Pull is more affordable than other fence post pullers made of similar material.
