NW Quik Pull Exhibit – Our First Exhibit At A Landscaping And Equipment Show
A couple weeks ago, NW Quik Pull had the honor of exhibiting at Equip Exposition, the international landscape, outdoor living, and equipment exposition trade show. While we have exhibited at a few other types of trade shows in the past, this was the very first landscaping show. It was a new testing ground for our tool.

It was this statement which I read months ago that helped me to decide that the NW Quik Pull Exhibit needed to be seen at this show! That and the fact that there had been many local landscaping projects which we used our tool on which resulted in some sales. NW Quik Pull is such a versatile tool which is growing in popularity in the landscaping industry.
Equip Exposition was held in Louisville, Ky, known as Bourbon City. While this was our first experience at this show, we learned that this trade show has been calling Louisville Kentucky home for nearly 40 years. This show is the industry’s proving ground-the one event with 30 acres outside where you can test before you invest in new products, innovations, and technologies for your business.
The NW Quik Pull exhibit showcased our tool invention, but it’s really difficult to set up this tool for actual demonstration in a show environment. So we had an inside display of the tool with video showing different applications of it at work. It is the video showing the tool at work which would stop people passing by our booth and allow us to have a conversation with them and answer their questions.
Mr Fence Himself Joined The NW Quik Pull Exhibit
While in the NW Quik Pull Exhibit booth, we were visited by Shawn King, Mr. Fence from Evansville Indiana. Shawn has a fence company, makes and sells fence tools, (including NW Quik Pull), and teaches all things fence at his traveling training school Mr. Fence Academy. We have been doing business with Shawn for the better part of a year, and he has really helped to grow our sales to the fence industry. It was unexpected, yet really great to see him.
We held a drawing to win a Free Quik Pull. As we talked with each interested party, we scanned their badge to gather their information for the drawing, and for future contact. The winner of the drawing was Juan Garcia with Dixie Perfect Lawns LLC in Meridian Mississippi! He was very excited about winning the tool, and knew his first job he would be using it for.
How would I rate the results of our exhibiting at this show? Well so far, we have made some sales, and had some great conversations which could lead to new business opportunities. I do believe this show is a proper venue for our tool to expand into the Landscaping arena. It seemed like a well attended show, and it was enjoyable for us. But ultimately, time will tell how successful the show was. And we have lots of time!
